    Ideal Candidate

  • solid accounting background

  • tertiary qualification in a Bachelor of Commerce (or similar), majoring in Accounting

  • preferably completed post graduate CA qualification, or be near completion.

  • excellent understanding of compliance

  • ability to relate to people and build trust with clients.

  • All other skills are implied, but if you’re a practical person with a good sense of humour, you will fit in well.

Specifically you will have demonstrated experience in:

  • Preparing reconciliations with supporting documentation for year-end accounts

  • Processing financial statements and tax returns for various entities

  • Preparing and reconciling BAS and IAS

  • Experience with Division 7A, CGT and small business concessions

  • Minimum 2 years' Public Practice experience

  • various client accounting software

Letcher Moroney Acquires Phill Stevens & Associates in Ceduna and Port Lincoln

Phill Stevens & Associates Acquisition

Letcher Moroney has increased its presence on the Eyre Peninsula with the recent acquisition of Phill Stevens and Associates effective 2nd July 2018. After 27 years Phill has elected to retire and approached LM to take over the business due to its close ties to the West Coast with an office in Streaky Bay managed by Director Tara Brace. Tara will now manage our 3 offices on the EP being Ceduna, Port Lincoln and Streaky Bay with the support of Adelaide office when required.

With 2 of our other Directors originally from the West Coast both companies feel this is a good fit and most importantly a great outcome for the clients of Phill Stevens. We look forward to working with them and the new staff at both the Ceduna and Port Lincoln offices
